The Friends of South Cumberland State Park are sponsoring Half Moon Mountain Magic, an event to benefit the Fiery Gizzard Project, for Friday, Oct 15, 5-9 PM, at DuBose Conference Center. Music by several bands, food by Lupi’s Pizza, and an appearance by the Wizard of the Gizzard himself, Dr. Harry Yeatman, will make for a great evening.

Of the $8.1 million needed to purchase this critically important property, the effort has $620,000 left to go. Donations may be sent to Friends of South Cumberland, P.O. Box 816, Sewanee, TN 37383. Let’s do it for the Gizzard!
